Kinds of Pronouns




        
          A pronoun, essentially, is a word that replaces a noun so that you don't have to keep using the noun itself so much; some examples of pronouns include I, me, mine, myself, she, her, hers, herself, we, us, ours and ourselves.

This is  a table of pronouns :
 

Subject Pronouns
  • She watered the plants.
  • I wanted to go to the party but she wouldn't let me.
  • Sometimes, they act crazy.
  • It simple isn't possible.
  • You can go to the game, as long as you finish the dishes.
 Object Pronouns
  • He kicked the ball to me.
  • She wants to talk to you.
  • We don't like her.
  • Joni smashed it.
  • Puri didn't invite them.
Possessive Adjectives
  • This is my book.
  • I like your hair.
  • We have sold our house.
  • The students thanked their teacher.
  • Her name is Rina.
Possessive Pronouns
  • The house is theirs and its paint is flaking.
  • Is his car really that fast?
  • The money was really theirs for the taking.
  • We shall finally have what is rightfully ours.
  • Their mother gets along well with yours.
Reflixive Pronouns
  • I saw myself in the mirror.
  • Why do you blame yourself?
  • Jaka sent himself a copy.
  • My snake hurt itself.
  • Can you help yourselves?
  • They can't look after themselves.
